DJ Kaos: Love The Night Away (Tiedye Mix)
^^^^Something that Tehran needs about now. When things like the current situation in Tehran occur it makes you put life back into perspective and realize how good you actually have it. I didn't watch any of the available feed primarily because I didn't want to be sad. Reading the news reports from CNN and BBC is enough for me. The abuse these people are going through from tear gas to being beating by batons, hosed down by water, and kicked is ridiculous. I wonder what President Bush would have said about this... lets say problem. [Music change-> Julianna Barwick: Bode] Would he have intervened??? Would this have been seen as a threat to the war on terror. As for Barack's decision to stay out of it: I think that is the smartest decision he has made thus far in office *don't get me wrong the way that he killed that fly was beast*. But yeah idk I wonder how this is going to play out... [Yacht: Psychic City (Voodoo City)]
IN OTHER NEWS
Stay away from Nestle cookie dough... it has been recalled for E. coli
What do you think of Obama granting some benefits for the homosexual community? I think it is great!!! :) CNN critics say it is too little too late, I feel like how can it be too little too late Obama has only been in office for 6 months!!! What is he suppose to do bend over and grab his ankles for a social issue that is not of vital importance?!? Don't get me wrong I think that human equality based on sex, race, and sexuality is important hell I am affected by two out of three but I personally think that the financial crisis as well as the living situations for the majority of the American population tips the scale of importance just a little bit more... don't you???
[Yeah Yeah Yeahs: Skeletons]
These next two tidbits of new brought up some discussion between me and two other people... Lets look at Usher & Tameka and Nas & Kelis... For those of you who have been living under a rock both "Hollywood couples" are getting divorced. Now there are three things that you should never talk about amongst others money, politics, and religion. In a way this deals with all three. My position is that marriage basically is a legal contract stating that since we are getting married I in way am giving half of myself to you and you are doing the same and that due to these circumstances I am now able to get XYZ benefits and a tax break. Now if we divorce and I am the bread winner in our family it is my responsibility to give you half of what I own, plus alimony, and child support if we have kids unless already prearranged.
Chick & Guy think that marriage is about [Jay-Z & Wallpaper: D.O.A./ 99 problems (remix) ] love and blah blah blah {hey I am biased}. They believe that in the event of divorce that there should only be child support involved. Why you wonder??? Because for one the non-bread winner should have been able to save some money while being married and was able to live by their own means before marriage and still should be able to after the fact. [Martha Wainwright: Factory]
I decided to through a monkey wrench in and ask the question what if it comes to light that the husband is not the father of the kids. What if the wife had been having an affair the entire time while being married??? You won't be surprised by the differing views.
Now according to the law IF while being married and your wife bears children those children legally are yours. Paternity does not matter. Why? because you are the father figure and the system doesn't care about the husband or the wife for that matter. It is all about the kids.
Guy said basically well ain't that a bitch and that he doesn't agree with that. Understandable. Chick gave an interesting view... Is it wrong? Yes Is it right? Yes. I mean if you can honestly say that after how many years that you would [Hercules and Love Affair: Blind] just separate yourself completely from a child you are lying to yourself. Also, take into account the emotional heartache of that child.
I found my view to favor Chick's. I mean I think that the husband should be apart of the child's life. But I also think that is unfair for the father to have to pay child support to support a child that is not biologically his... But I think to be in a child's life emotionally you also need to be there financially and I continue on and on...
Now I am rambling so I am going to stop now...
Done for now... Deuces!!!!
